My lovely wife, Paula, suggested a while ago that I make a piece with two people holding hands in a boat. This is not exactly what she had in mind but I took her suggestion as a jumping off point. I originally had the boat down in the water and had the waves moving rather realistically, but it became way too complicated. I decided to raise the boat above the water and have the viewer focus on the people in the boat, instead of the water. This is powered by an 8mm camera motor as well.
